The Epic First Blog

Hello!

The word "epic" was entirely meant to poke fun at how inexperienced I am with "sharing my soul" on the internet via blog. However, I'm hoping my blog will turn into something "epic" with time.

I take direction with this whole concept due to my sister's truly epic accounts of her journey in India in her blog, michelleinindia. (A semester abroad in India! I think she's crazy; I will definitely travel somewhere quite cushy!)

At this time, I am still in the midwest, awaiting my move to North Carolina - quite a drastic change compared to my long-"A"s type of living. But I definitely foresee that it is going to be the adventure of a lifetime! How many people can say that within 18 months they have lived in three different regions of the USA? (I'm sure many have these days....especially with this economic turmoil, but I won't get into that now.)

I hope that I can update this with pictures of my many tried (and probably failed) attempts at becoming a "true mountain woman" in the months to come. I'll start with something relatively simple -- maybe some basic hiking...
